But how many would be willing to pay the premium it will demand? Sure it's cheaper than having a shop do one custom for your truck, but it's still going to be more than most will want to pay. This was exhibited during the whole KP Components thread on RPS. Don't get me wrong, a bolt on kit would be cool; especially if I ever bag my g/f's truck; I just would hate to see all kinds of work done on it and nothing come out of it.

it would actually be pretty easy. make a new gas tank xmember and wishbone uppers like for the s dimes. andsome lower bars that bolted to the rear ned.

Sounds cool but how much would it cost?

I thought the 83-87 had balljoints in the beam, if you were going to use the stock spindle this would be a problem.

i'd totally buy it. just a couple questions, how much modification is actually required? when that KP thread was on rps, i wasn't interested in bagging my truck, but now i am. how much of a drop could you get? i don't really want to change to a-arms though.

With my kit if I decide to make it, you will be able to lay a ranger out on the frame with 20s and enough lift to air it to static drop height, I'm still not sure about making it, its alot of work to develop a complete kit, say the rear kit was between 700 and a grand do you guys think I would sell many of them? only welding would be the notch/bridge the rest would be bolt on using holes left by removing the rivets.

700-800 is pretty much the cost of just buying a weld on kit. If you could sell it for that - you'd sell enough of them.

i meant the same as in were springs and shit are located. i know 83-88 has balljoints in beams, 89-94 has balljoints in spindles but same brakes ans 83-88 and 95-97 has bigger brakes and dual piston rotors. but the beams/springs/and radius arms all go on the same.

i'd pay $1200 for a complete bolt on apparatus. so $8-1k would be fucking phenomenal. only reason i'd opt to bolt on is, i can't have my truck out of commission for that long.

so what would it come with? i'll be the first in line if you do this.
