Possibly valves tapping???

so how do you fix the backlash on the ranger?? is the same as my friends honda like i said?

hydralic lifters dont work like that. If the lifter is not pumping up just setting the lash again wont fix the problem. Its up to you, but I would try the additive of your choice or look into new lifters.
