Weber Carb Install

What parts do I need to install a Weber carb and will my A/C still work?

Why in the world would your carb have anything to do with the a/c???????????

You need to buy the carb. no other parts needed.

Some cars have idle controls on the carb that need to be retained. Its so the idle gets bump up when the A/C is kicked on instead of the engine bogging down possibly dieing.

So no mounting adapters are needed?

the webber comes with everything needed. no other adapters are needed.

You can purchase a kit that comes with the adapter plate and carb or you can pickup a used weber and just order the adapter kit. I purchased a used 32/36 and the owner had a new adapter kit for 86+ trucks. Mine was a 84, so just ordered new adapter kit and installed weber carb using stock linkage.

BTW, anyone looking for the adapter kit I have one I will not need. I can check part number to verify fit when I get home from work but was told its for later year mazdas
