performance ignition coil?

so i'm trying to find anything to get me a little more power out of my G6 and i was wondering if anyone had installed a aftermarket ignition coil. any gains?

i also picked up a K&N filter for $10 today just waiting on the intake pipes.

Are you custom making your intake? I've never been able to find one from companies like K&N or Airaid

I've actually made it. Check my posts to find pics. Wasnt too hard really. I would still like to know about the coil though.

so i picked up a Blaster 2 for a good price and was wondering if anyone had ever installed this type of coil. i figured i could just cut the connector off and install the + and - wires to the new coil. is there any resistors i would need? any other things i need to look out for or do?

I'm pretty sure you just hook the neg and positive to the coil and let her rip!
