ac compressor for air bags

Ive got a old compressor and I know how to convert to grease .The clutch spins but how would i test it to make sure it good or not(can i tell by doing a leak down from the rear ports?)

No when it has those leaks it's jst the seals nd if the compressor ingages it should stay on witch means its good
