Since you said the bushings were wore out i'm assuming they are poly bushings? Is one end fixed/welded and is the other end threaded/adjustable? Fixing the bushings will not fix the issues with a 50/50 link setup but thats niether here nor there. If the ends are adjustable maybe you could just swap out the poly ends for heim joints and misalignment spacers, or cut the tabs off and redo them so the bolts run on the same plane as the axle, or maybe a forward running wishbone setup so you can keep you stock gas tank?
