Has anyone made one of these into an Electric Vehicle? If so, how was it accomplished, How much did It cost, and how were the results?
Thanks

There are a couple youtube videos of a school that built a red one. I even saw one on ebay a few years back. You can expect around 50 miles per charge, have to haul about 700 lbs of batteries around with you, and almost a $12,000 investment.
But you've already stated that you're broke, so not really an option now, is it?!

Well, not now of course.
Still, no harm in being interested in a subject. My intention if I do it, is wait until I am out of college, having kept the truck around. Perhaps continue to drive it until the engine goes even, and then do the conversion.
I also have another long term project in the works for then, a 1969 Opel GT sitting in a barn in ohio. It needs some TLC
