I'm looking to drop a 302 into my 88 b2200. Does anyone know were I can get the motor mount conversion kit for this install? ??

They no longer make them. The company that made the kit went out of business.

However, you can use 87-93 mustang motor mounts and redrill or slot the holes on the existing frame mounts.
There is a how-to article on mini truckin' web.

I was told you have to swap the mounts side to side and drill the holes a bit bigger for the motor and trans mounts but will work. will need to spend like 500 to get a painless wiring kit to go fi or 500 for intake and carb. what trans do you want to use ? you will need a drive shaft made. and get the computer for the motor if your going fi . what rear end are you going to use ? im using an explorer 8.8 " needs mods " you will need to make a new front cross member to clear oil pan. i have a bit more info that other have told me but i have not done it yet. pm me any time ill try to share.

honestly, depending on what you can build, what tools you have available to you, you dont have to buy any "kits" even if you can find them. I did a SBC in mine...made all my own brackets and what not.

A Ford 302, or better a 351w is an easy swap.

Here is my build for some idea's.

I'm def not going fi. Not sure on the trans yet. I'm still trying to gather up all the info I can before dropping alot of money on this swap. I was thinking on using the stock rear end if possible?

you know, as far as the rear end goes...i honestly think you will be fine depending on what you plan on doing with it...Mine is primarily beat the crap out of for the last couple years and im still good. If you are gonna drag race it, might be different. I drift mine so its alot of speed on the rear end but not so much stress like you would get from "launching".
and you could always put a nine inch or something like that at a later date.

Ya u could use stock rear end and put in the first gen rx7 gears and LSD " posi " or also the 2600i has a bigger rear end with that u use the newer rx7 gears for posi
