mazda beater (350 swap)

The transmission itself is not off-center. The 3rd gen Camaro T-5s are rotated 17 degrees towards the driver instead of being straight up and down so the shifter ends up being off-center in the shifter hole of the Mazda. If you go back and look at the last pic of the T-5 he posted you'll see the bellhousing is upright, but the transmission is not.

Thanks bagd i guess i should have looked harder but thats an easy fix. Still like what i am seeing here
