Alright I need some help. Is there any reason why I couldn't weld my upper bag mounts on top of the frame rails? I've never bagged before, would I still be able to layout on an RE-7. I just want to make sure this thing will lay frame. It seems like they would have a lot more support on the frame rail and gusseted.

thanks,
E

Everythings lookin pretty good so far man. For the upper bag bracket you could do something similar to this:

thanks man, i got the ones from the sd kit that came with the link. I think I could use those as long as I shorten them a little bit. Will the postion of the bag be good like that? I'm kinda limitied because of the way i did my upper bars.

Another quick question. I'd like to put my bags like that because it will line up with the upper mounts. However how will i bolt the bag to the lower bracket if they are like that? Because all three bottom bolts would be coverd by the lower link bar.
