is it just the pics or is it me that the the mounts for the lower bars and front bar ends are gonna drag the ground when layed out. looks like its set under the frame.

i know exactly what your saying. but i think it is good. the part of frame that actually lays (up by the back of the cab) is about 5 1/2 to 6 inches off the ground in the pics with the tires on. So as long as those lower tabs are that high off the ground i should be ok.

dropped90 you just saved my ass. I went on lunch and double checked and they mounts hang about an inch lower than the frame. I guess i'll have to cut those down or get some shorter ones. thanks alot man. good catch.

Hey I don't have to worry about how low they hang off the axle right? Because the axle will move up under notches right? Alls i should shorten are the ones on the crossmemeber?

Alright so i got the fuel cell in. still in the process of plumbing the rest of it and getting it running. I also have put the shorter tabs for the lower bars, don't have pics of that yet. but here is one of the fuel cell as it sits.

ok so if i can get some decent weather id like to get all the grinding done on the frame rails, axle, etc.. and paint it. I heard Por15 is good. how much would i need? Anyone have any other suggestions rather than por 15? Isn't best if rolled on?

You can brush on Por15 and it comes out pretty good, its thick and fills in the streaks itself.
