por15 works like a charm, but direct sunlight will make it fade to flat black unless you clear it good, i guess that's what the top coat is for?. But none the less it stops ANY rust from getting in there or popping out.

Truck looks nice and it's coming along very quick. I can't wait to unbury mine and get crackin .

just got done grinding the frame rails. just got to do the axle and driveshaft and I should be set to paint when i get it. Hopefully I can get some nice weather. I still got to do the bag mounts too and maybe a member between the notches.

Hey that fuel cell looks familiar! Project is looking good, are you sure your are going to have enough ground clearance below the cell when the rear is laid out and the front is raised?

I believe so. As long as it's higher off the ground than the part of frame that lays by the end of the cab correct??? Just making sure. I'd hate to run into any issues like that. Worst case I could always move it up, but i think the logic is right. let me know.

glad i could help man. didnt want you to drag those mounts and lower bars end up coming off and havin a bad accident or something. its coming along nicely though.

yeah i appreicate it man. i redid those as well as added some gussets to the crossmember.

You think since the fuel cell is higher than the amount of distance between the frame and the ground it will be alright?

Alright put shorter tabs on for the lower bars and added some support to the cross member. let me know what you think. As soon as the re-7s get delivered I will start on the bag mounts. Let me know of any suggestions or if you have pics of bags on bars.

Yeah can't wait to get em. But it will be soon enough. Then it will be time to get working on the front as well. Haven't even started that mess yet but I already got the torsion kit.
