but, does any one know if its possible to convert the pull brake to a hand lever brake? or like the straight up pull brakes?

yes its not that hard need a new cable and a floor mount hand brake from jegs or summit racing

a brand new cable or a different cable?
and im guessing jus cut thru the floor and connect the cable to the lever?
