New Sound System

I was thinking of going 2 of those subs and some transducers since all audio below 40Hz is inaudible anyway.

The wattage is so low you could put a hundred of those in the correct configuration and make the seat unbearable.

Ha well I have no missus at the moment... but that tranducer idea sounds great.. Maybe a 10" on my side and a 8" on the passenger with some 6x9s in the door with the amp in the middle of the subs and the transducer in the console...

This was the design I finalized. Has a 4" 8 ohm woofer and 1" surface mount tweeter with the four transducers for each side of the rear channels. I set the crossover at 6kHZ for tweeter and 48Hz for the transducers. I set it up so it would be as near to 4ohms as possible (3.93) and will also be impossible to blow any of the speakers, the amp will distort first. Then just put a panel behind bench and voila. I will still have 2 subs as well.
