7 Pin Trailer Wiring

I am trying to hook up my 7 Pin wiring, can i just hook everything to the back of the taillights and will that work? I need a wiring diagram for which wire is which for the taillights so i can hook it up that way? Also for my trailer break I was wondering which side is the cold side on the stop switch behind the brake pedal? cold side as in only is hot when brake is depressed.
