I recently bought a 4WD 1993 B2600i. It has a tach and I was wondering about a full dash swap into an 1986 B2000. I know the '93 is fuel injected, and thus the computer probably plays a bigger role than in the '86. Whether the tach is getting its signal from the computer or coil, I don't know. I would love to use the tach, so does anyone know if this will work?
The tach cluster is a direct swap. The tach will work, the only thing I think you have to do is run a wire to hook the clock up on some trucks.
