yea i found some online they are only 2 bucks each so i am going to get some for sure, and hope fully do my doors this weekend or next... i want to do my truck all black and red since i want the truck candy red... can i leave the texture on my dash and paint it??? or do i have to sand it all down smooth?? the texture does not bother me so i just want it black not grey.

you can scuff it up and use some promoter and primer and paint ,or dye ,or just get sem texture spray ,just make sure you thoughlyclean and scuff surface very well if just painting cause it will lift if not prepared correctly doesn't have to be completely smooth just need to get sheen off ,and make sure primer ad hears

so pretty much pull dash off sand it with (what grit) sanding paper. clean really good before and after and paint?? what kind of paint?? and where can i buy it?? and how much?? sorry for all the questions... i'm really new lol..

you can 80-150 range it will sand down the texture ,but a company called sem makes a texture paint designed to match factory panels ,i used it numerous times and looks just like it says ,works well ,i dont recall exact price but any paint supply company for auto has it , if you wanna make the color different with texture there is a bunch of colors to choose from ,and they have the plastic adhesive promoter too,if you wanna just paint a totally different non texture just sand use good high build primer block it down ,smooth ,if 2 coats isnt enough ,use another ,prime again ,paint clear and your set <a class="postlink" href=""></a><!-- m --> &lt;--- there's link to sem
