Alright so I got a infinity perfect 12.1 and a 1200 watt amp from my brother as payment to paint his truck.
What I want to do is make a console box to use it, but it is a 12 and I need both rear seats in the x-cab. So I thought I can make the back of the console kind of flare out right behind the seat backs just enough to sink the 12 without having it interfere with the walkway too much.
So would a box shape like that work or would it have screwed up sound?

i think it would be fine. thats about the only way a 12 would fit in a console. you could build the concole out of wood, use a wood ring, and fiberglass just the flared portion in between. keep it sealed and it should sound good.

yes definately fire toward rear and you might have to pollyfill it since im sure it will be sealed and you dont have much room gl post some pics
