Just a suggestion, for a cleaner look run your I-Pod cable behind the dash into the glove box. Once the I-Pod is connected there is no reason to have it sittin out. That is where I have mine. Like I said, just a suggestion. Being an installer it bugs me having anywires hangin around. I try to hide as much as possible.
ture that im not finished installing the components and new sub amp set-up so ill probably end up putting the wire somewhere else
heres the temporary component set-up installed
looking good man keep up the good work
they will be made into the new sub box.... but that will be a few weeks yet so i had to do something i can't stand not having any tunes while driving
I hear ya on that. either some tunes or some exaust driving lol I like the sound of my B2200 at 4k rpm.
I have a sub box with 2 12" kickers what is a good way to mount it to the cab I was thinking maybe some L brackets or something like that.
90-b22Dawg I ran my usb cable around the out side of the shifter console mounting brackets so the mp3 player and usb drive sits right at the bottom slot in the console
Ditto on my DEH-P6900UB, plugged in a 40 gig laptop HD and worked good. Only problem I had was that it took a while to start playing because it had to go through the 6000 songs each time I powered it back on. I wound up just putting in an 8gig flash and it is almost immediate. Scrolls through playlists, songs, genre or by artists...pretty sick.
