Welded up a bracket today.
Now I am just going to throw a coat of paint on the bracket and while that dries head to the store for some new bolts.
This is only the bracket for the passenger seat. I have to make the drivers bracket tomorrow.
Zac
gahahhahah you just made me think of something absolutely hilarious.
soo..
here goes.
Back when i just got my Denali's on, there was a work staff party. Well, I used to work at a restaurant...so we're all young n broke pretty much...so I volunteered my truck to be the DD mobile lmao.
I let my buddy drive it because i was getting bombed. I threw my topper on for that night as well. The truck had 4" Blocks, and Torsions as low as they would go without re-indexing. It was damn low with a 205 40 17.
By the time the party was over, in my truck was:
My buddy, Me in the front with this chick i picked up that night
4 Small girls in the back
Two big guys in the front of the box
2 girls in the middle
and 2 more big guys at the back.
13 people.
needless to say it was bottoming and scraping EVERYWHERE, probably threw a few static dropped sparks...lol.
nice seats sir/
Nice lol.
So the passenger seat is done.
What do you tihnk...?
Zac
Sorry for the horrible pics I'll get better ones tomorrow. They are completely done now. Turned out very nicely I am so happy with them.
Zac
those look pretty damn comfy. how do they sit and ride?

They're pretty nice. They cup you a lot better and there are a lot of adjustments on the drivers seat. Only thing I have noticed is because they are for a car they are meant for you to be getting into hem from like above them rather than the side so they are a little more awkward to get in cause you have to go over the edge.... I guess thats why the stock seats are so flat.

that looks awesome. now i just need to learn to weld and start fabbin up crap for my truck.
i still ain't decided what seats i'm goin with yet.
good job on the super bracket. looks strong! seats look good in there
Damn nice bracket. I wouldnt have raised it tho. I would have bolted the rear straight to the floor, with a new hole. I helped a friend do that a few years back with his mazda, and he sat a good bit higher, was weird to sit in. But the seats looked KILLER and were very comfy, just too tall, lol.
Well the way these seats mounted originally was more or less with the front and back level. The rear Mazda mounts are about an inch and a half lower than the fronts. So to compensate for the difference I raised up the back about that much.
