Get in contact with Mazdamandan. He's not on much, and maybe if you search around this forum, you'll come across a pic of his beautiful black microsuede headliner.

Ive seen his before and its tight. I want to know exactly how he did it because I tryed covering it in fake suede myself on my extra extended cabs headliner but it came out horrible. I tryed mine out of the truck, maybe it needs to be in the truck and streched tight.

Probably not what you were looking for, but the basic construction idea can be applied to any design

^^^ Are the factory bows holding it up? And how is it held to the front edge by the windsheild? Thanks.

No factory bows. More or less, it is a piece of 1/8" pressboard cut to fit. It is actually oversized enough side to side and front to back so that there is a bow ot the wood. Where the wood meets metal, there is a few sheet metal screws keeping the edges from dropping.

Keep in mind that with all the glass, the head liner weighs over 10 pounds and has been up there for over 6 years. The method does work.

Did you lose a lot of head room?

No, not really. The bow of the wood is actually touching the factory foam pad that is on the sheet metal roof.

Now that sounds like the way to go! Sure beats getting a stiff neck looking UP to get everything layed out. Good luck.
