Thing is, I already have the 6x9's left over from my old truck and I'm not looking to spend much more on new equipment. (read: my wife will kill me )

Why is it that when people are building up any ride they dump a ton of money into there stereo instead of suspention or bodywork, stereo is the LAST FINAL thing on my list, LOL

EXAMPLE AND I HAVE SEEN THIS BEFORE!!! I kid will be like I wish I had the money to bag my truck.. and then be like cheak out my new 500 dollar amp or my dvd player and monitors LOL

LOL, that's easy, so you can crank the tunes while you do the rest of the work! LOL. I did my stereo first cause I had all the stuff in a box from my old truck.

BTW, you just reminded me of a dude that used to cruze this area in a primered dodge omni with chrome rims and a thumpin stereo, lol. He could have been the kid in the "Pretty Fly for a white guy" video.

Pioneer head unit
2 JL Audio 10's
2 Eclipse in the dash
2 Kenwood 6.5's
1 Kenwood 600 watt amp

The JL's are in a factory sealed box, and they hit hard to just be 10's. Quite happy, but I am thinkin of moving up to 12's since the 10's can't handle all the amp anyway.

I built a custom shelf to go over the JL box and Amp to set my 6.5's on in their own lil sealed carpeted boxes. Nough room in the middle of the 6.5's to let my beagle get up there and lay down

You can kinda see the box for the 10's and the shelf above that I set my 6.5's on in each corner.

Planin on building a complete center console to hold the head unit.

Heres what I'm running
2 JL audio 12w6v2's down firing and ported
2 MTX 6500d's
1 MTX 6304
Clarion Pro Audio headunit
Boston Acoustics 4's in front
Infinity reference 6 1/2's in rear
180 amp GM cs130 alt
extra deep cycle battery to store power

I only ran it through one show last year and it hit 145's without any tuning. Right now it is all out of the truck until I get the new motor up and running.

Hey Grf74, what do ya want for your 10s? when you get your 12s?

I know this is going back but half way through April, Daweezi showed a picture of a sub in between his buckets just near the dash, what kind of bass quality would that be the way its pointed and the angle? If Daweezi is still around, how does that sound as apposed to behind the seats?
