Suicide door jamb question

What do you guys use on your door jams for filler after the hinge pockets are ground smooth with the jamb. Body filler concerns me because of the stress in that area and cracking. Thanks

Never seen anyone use anything but regular body filler, but you could try some of the metal filler. Seems like it would be better for high stress areas.

that metal to metal is actually pretty good stuff

Reg filler works fine, but all metal wors great for stress areas and you shouldnt have stress in the pockets if you built them up and plated them from behind
