ok my questions are i have a 3m rubber block & 600grit sand paper but someone told me to go in circles with my hand no block is that correct also should i use the 600 & then use another grit to get it finer bassically what steps should i take all together help i dont want to start and redo it ya know <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_question.gif" alt=":?:" title="Question" />
600 for primer....Sure, but it will take all day to sand it. If you are gonna leve it in primer for a while go with like 320. And the block will keep you from putting finger indentations into the surface.
when your sanding always go in the same direction(left to right)(up an down)

some one in this site told me too use 600 after i use the 320 just go ahead & prime it???
yep.... 600 is overkill as most primers have a higher build than basecoat, not to mention you will have to sand it back off before you paint it anyways, at least if you drive it in primer.
the only reason some people use 600 after they 320 the truck is to reduce the scratch marks the 320 had made.
Yeah but if you put on 2 coats of any decent high build primer you will not get scratch marks at all....
true. thats what my bro did on his ride. no sand marks at all.
