has anyone ever, or does anyone have any i deas on how to make your own cover? ive been pondering this idea. is it a good one?

you would have to be a fiberglass god, thats all i can say..i personally wouldnt waste my time & money but i dont like using fiberglass. -bf

i am working on a hard lid out of sheet at the moment far from being finished but you get the idea

yeah thats what im doing too, im gonna use 1/8" alluminum sheet and square tubing, and I beams, I wanna make it power too.
I'll use weatherstripping along the outer edge to seal it, and stop negative vibration, aluminum is less likely to warp from bouncing, in a heavier thickness gonna do it in the summer.

oh yeah it'll fit inside the rim of the box, so it'll be flush.
A guy could build a mold and crank out a few units out of fiberglass, but it would cost a fortune!

great idea but y not get 1 person who knows about fiber glass to make some for whatever amount of people like a group buy but try to get the price reduced

what about a homemade soft tonno? That wouldn't be too hard maybe

soft cover seems like maybe it could be easy. square tubeing frame and just wrap it in whatever material. ?? maybe

probably just wrap with some vinyl, if you decide to go that route let me know how it goes and how much materials were(kinda interested in it myself).
