Well replacing the radiator or something is actually easy cause all you have to do is pull the two pins out of the hinges and the hood lifts off. Well at least until I tagged the crown vic.
No it doesn't have the extra movement like the buick hinges but I do have a set of buick hinges and am considering switching them since I have to do some work on the front end anyway.

I saw a Silverado that used Regal T-Type hinges,so I would assume those are probably the same as the LeSabre ones. You know,typical GM parts bin.
