you would definately have to. the grille comes around the corner and wraps around where the lighta are. most guys that i have seen with their lights shaved will get some kind of Phantom grille to fill in the space.

on my truck kept stock grill and ran escort lights, if you do that you just trim the grill. there is a pic in this section under bumper
