what all do you have to do for bracing if you were to chop of the top. i am buying another mazda.bagged and bodydropped for $400, just needs reasembling.thinking about chopping top off if it is not too dificult.

airbagit.com has a kit for convertable tops for mazdas idk about any bracing but they got the kit

you have to support the cab sides when u cut it off.. are u wanting to make it a roadster (full time convertable) or a rag top convertable? They also sell hard top conversions.. i don't know how bad they would leak.. but they look awesome. After u get it cut off i would build some kind of gussets for the cab sides so it dosen't bow in.
