just gotta get me a cheap-o alarm now.

i dont even remember the name of them it was soooo long ago (6years) all u need to do is go to your local stereo shop and ask them for a truck popper, ive heard people using door lock actuators too, but i dont know how long they last, im going to try them on my other mazda

thats the only worry I have ... how long will they last...

no need for somthing that big on a light door that easy to open

I use 35pd auto loc on mine, I had problems at first when I mounted them vertical but since I changed to mount them horizontal and ran cables in the door it has been working perfect. I had to make weld on cable stops.
