driveshaft hitting frame
I got a 91 b2200 and I I've had a 3inch angle block with one pulled leaf in the rear....but today I decided I wanted to go lower so I pulled another leaf so now I only have the bottom and the one that bolts in. but now my frame sits on the driveshaft so I can't drive any where. can anyone help me figure out to fix this? any info would be deeply appreciated
Your frame sits on your driveshaft? What?
You mean a crossmember is hitting your driveshaft?
Do you have a single piece or two piece driveshaft?
My best suggestion would be to raise it back up or notch the crossmember.
it hits the cross member right where the cab Andre bed meet
That makes more sense. Im assuming you have a single piece driveshaft, otherwise there would be a carrier bearing there so it would not hit.
Can you cut out part of the crossmember to notch it? Or look for a 2 piece driveshaft.
I had my friend look at it and he said that he had 4 inch angled blocks with one pulled leaf and he never had this problem...he also said that his block had a bigger angle then mine. could I put those alignment shims or put a block with a bigger angle?
