I couldn't find an exact answer but from what I've read drop spindles push the wheels out about 1/2 an inch correct? If so is it possible for me to section my factory control arms that much to compensate for that 1/2"?

The shop around me was gonna build me some arms that were shorter but I don't have 1000 bucks. That's them installed and new bag mounts. I will just have to make sure I do all of them the same right? Another thing, when cut the lowers can I plate the bottom side and bolt the bag directly to the arm?

you have to keep in mind that there are other things that you will have to modify like your tie rod ends and your traction arm and then on top of that you will have to watch the size of tire you are going to run so you still have full steering this also depends on how much you are shortening your control arms. Yes you can mount your bag right to the top of the LCA but try and mount it close to the frame so you dont top out on the UCA

I'm running 245 35 20's. I was thinking I'd shorten them an inch. And I was gonna remove the strut rod and triangulate it to the side of the frame

Why a drop spindle? If you are going to go to so much trouble by making new controls. Why not make the control arms the way you need them to work with out a drop spindle? I'm running a 245/35 20 and have stock control arms. Yea I have a lot of camber laid out. But I am going to fix that this winter by building a whole new set of controls by shorten them and moving the upper control arm mount up a little. So the wheel has less camber.
