I would also like to see what pressure would be needed to lift the vehicle with a set up like that. The shock spec says 25 to 500 psi. You would have to run a nitrogen bottle and high end valves to get those kind of pressures in an adjustable suspension.
or make a bottle like mine....its a welding gas bottle i welded bungs in
I ran some on a cherokee trail rig. they are amazing. they would work as designed for a static drop but adjustable would take some engineering
im not trying to bag the truck, id bag it if thats what i was going for.
what im looking for is an adjustable suspention, like i said earlier i may be going the coilover route, air shocks would just be mnuch easier to adjust than coils, the ultimate goal with the truck is a motor swap, rotary, sr20det, miata bp whatever comes along
^ i'm confused... and airbags aren't adjustable enough? or you'd rather adjust height with air shocks?
air shocks are just another way of getting the job done and cool besides
air shocks were cool 15 years ago dude
97 Gixxers were also cool 13 years ago.
correct id like to use an airshock basically as a coil over
anywho im going to try it in a few weeks, ill get some pics up and let you all know how it goes
they still are cool - and i hope u didn't have to take off your shoes to count back how old it is. i suppose you could count back too and say your mazda was cool approx 20 years ago.
oh snap that... retard
