Monday i will stop in at the shop and open the bleed screws to see if i can get them in anymore. Ive never cracked open or rebuilt drums before.

It looks like you forgot the big fat spring that is supposed to hold the shoes together. . .it goes around the adjuster and pulls the shoes IN. Each end of the sping goes into the big hole on each of the shoes.
I had to look at this for a minute to figure this out.

Baha told me how to get a picture uploaded. . . there is a brake blow up diagram here:
You are missing #13.

Did you get this fixed?
I want to know if it's safe to drive in front of you.

I know the large spring was removed for that picture. I figured out i had to crack open the bleed screw and totally compress the pistons in before the machined drum would fit over the new shoes.
So yes i figured this out but i ended up purchasing a mini master craft impact driver that accepted screw driver bits to get the drum screws out, i didn't even bother putting them back in after either.

Amazing how a pic can do more than a thousand words of text. The above may not have been the exact fix for this thread but it certainly will help others. Thanks for the upload Tweaker.
