Well tonight on the way home from a buddy's house, a person in front of be hammered on there breaks to a dead stop at 50mph, and in that event i had to aswell. well apparently my truck stopped, but my rear end dident.

Long story short, my 4 Inch drop blocks exploded (from the hard breaking i gather), causing my rear end to float around on the rear leafs.

so i had do drive 4 miles to a friends house to take them out, and doing so busted 2 u bolts(because they got bent somehow?). so i had to drive home with 2 holding the axle in.

tomorrow i will upload the pictures of the blocks. poor manufacturing i suppose, because they were installed properly, to my knowledge.

I hope your not mono leafed..... There is a lot of flex in a single leaf.

The problem was most likely the U bolts were loose. After an installation of drop blocks and driving for a while you MUST retighten these up as the U bolts stretch and everything settles in together.

You probably had the thing just a bit loose and when you hit your brakes there was just enough play to allow the axle to get out of there and break in the process.

They are cheap aluminum anyway.

No, its just stock leafs, with the helper leaf removed. and i tightend the u bolts about 2 weeks ago again, and they seemed alright. but who knows.

Im going to make my own blocks outa steel, insted of the b.s. cast aluminum...

I'm running 3" billet aluminum blocks, haven't had a single issue, and I have a bad habit of making tires spin.
