so,
I hammered out some dents today,
Pulled out the box where it was pushed in an inch on one side about 1 sq ft of the surface area, and the bodyline was flattened quite a bit, but I hammered it all out
I cut out the inner panels which were rusted beyond use
Wire cupped the inside of the box sides
I finished rolling the lip of the sides to clear the wheels
Welded up the underside of the supports I put in, remember its gonna be a tilt box
No point in having extra weight, besides, when I weld the top solid it will add a lot of wieght back for traction, and decent drop speed too.
Still some rust to deal with

gotta plan out the tilt bed,
i hope to set up the rear tubbs tomorrow, a full wheel well, in heavy 14 g steel, should look really clean when done, I will paint inside the wells also , instead of black the body color will be continuous in the wells giving it a highly polished look
Just gotta deal with the rust, it takes time
hopefully I make enough progress tomorrow to bother posting an update.

So I thought I was gonna have more steel welded up tonight, but I did some sandblasting instead.
My ass is sooo broke I been sweepin up the sand and reusing it , the crappy part bout that is havin to filter it all back out, to get all the rust flakes and garbage out of it, I screen it then run my welding magnets through it to catch the grinding dust etc.
That is verry time consuming so I didnt get to weldin tonight.
If I dont have too long a day tomorrow I will, get on it.
It sucks being poor again.
Damn , a friggin bag o sand is only 12 bucks, cant remember the last time I had 12 disposable dollars, I'd laugh if that sh8t was funny, but, its just frustrating.

welding magnets...damn wish i thought of that.... we just used a screen off a window to filter it...lol
