dev, i would just run it between the frame rails, u can run a 2600lb bag but u have to cut and cup the frame, so a small portion of the bag is sunk into the frame and which it will give u more lift, cuz the bag is closer to the pivot point, ive seen a few people do it and lots of people explaining to me
The bag is not mounted to the upper arm on this truck. You can see where the arm is trimmed to fit around the link thats attached to the bag.
Devon, you don't need control arms to lay big wheels, but it will help, and look cleaner. If you want to actually attach the bag to the upper control arm I would suggest it. Because the stock upper arms aren't meant to carry a load. But neither are the balljoints. You will wear them out faster that way.
