I plan on removing my bump stops here soon but I have one problem. I want to shave them a little bit untill I get the DJM bump stop replacements but the handsaw I was using wasn't cutting it. What has everyone else used to cut them down. Also, is there a bolt holding the rear bump stops on like the front?

sawszall, or a angle grinder with a cutoff wheel....yea it can be done with a hacksaw i guess but it cant be much fun.

there's no bolts holding the rears on. They're adhered to a C-shaped bracket that is held in place by the u-bolts. I used a sawzall on mine to trim them, and I tore the driver's side bumpstop off,so I siliconed it back on and held it in place with some zip ties ill it cured.

It also makes it alot easier if you have access to a hoist.

I wouldn't really recommend using a grinder. It'll take a little while and the smoke and fumes from the rubber is crazy. I just tried my angle grinder on my front bumpstops this morning and that was no fun,so I'm going to tear the front end apart and sawzall 'em off.
