Dropped Spindles "and" Lowered Control Arms???

I was wondering if anybody has combined both, the spindles and the lowered control arms. I was thinking about looking into it. I want a considerable drop without losing too much spring rate. Cranking them down has "softened" the ride too much on my front end. Big-bore aftermarket shocks helped, but only very little. Any comments or suggestions from the experienced would greatly be appreciated, thanks in advance.

Cranking the torsions will not change the spring rate at all...it just moves the springs location....perhap reindexing the torsions will help. Combining the parts is not recomended by most manufacturers due to ground clearance issues and rim clearance issues.

You will hit on most wheels. The issue is a problem with the angle of the control arm. I'd go with flipping ball joints, its cheap and works well for that little extra bit of lowering.

Currently, I am dropped with cranked torsions and flipped lower balljoints. Bottoms out really easy. I was thinking about getting one or the other or both so I can crank the torsions back up without gaining to much height. I did install some aftermarket big-bore shocks, they helped but only a little. I heard about re-indexing the torsions, any opinions on that??
