so i brought my 91 B22 in to have an alignment done and my mechnic told me that having flipped ball joints in very damgerous because it takes all of the truck weight and puts it on the bolts instead of putting the load on the control arms. he thinks it would break the bolts.

has neone had the bolts break or expierienced problems with flipped ball joints?

I drove my last mazda for 4 years with flipped ball joints with no problems at all.

Use the highest grade bolts available, don't reuse the stock ones.....And in all reality the mechanic is right.

yeah it made sense to me so i am staying with the stock orientation. i am not willing to risk it. it is low enough with out flipping the ball joints.

LOL

I know that suspension is factory engineered for a reason, I would use the high grade bolts, better yet get a drop spindle.
