got my rear bags mounted with the IRS today... some other random stuff.
I've got a friend coming over tomorrow to get the fuel cell planned out so he can make it.
I need to get my drive shaft shortened, but gotta figure out what to do for u-joints since mazda's are non replacable.

u joints are replaceable, i did them in my drive way, lol they were a biotch, but if you unbolt the shaft from the rear end and slide it out of the tranny it makes things alot easyier....im switching to a IRS aswell, and im using a 1 peice from one of my buddies mazda's,....

the u-joints on a 2-peice are replaceable... but only the inner 2, not the outers.
The mazda driveshafts are supposed to last a lifetime thats why they don't have replaceble u-joints. It is possible to remove them with a press and replace them with different one's its just a matter of finding the right one's.
and seeing as how i need to have a drive shaft made i'd like to get it right the first time.. lol.
