after dropping a cabplus truck with 4" blocks and pulling a leaf or two, do we mazda owners have to shorten the driveshaft or do anything else in order to keep everything lined up so the tranny doesnt get torn up?

nope.. just drop it on its nutz and haul ass.

Just make sure your pinion angle is sittin close to about 6 degrees so you dont tear up your universal joints.
