So i started workin on mine now...

i pulled the overload and a leaf, gonna be flipping the ball joints, 3" block in the back, probably just remove the torsions as well I guess since they aren't gonna be doin much, and cuttin the bump stops off as well.

good times... im also putting my frontier bumper on, welding the seams on the bed shut, putting my compbo and tail fillers in, shaving the handles and the gas door, lots of work ahead of me... and I want this all done in a week or 2... fun fun.

Please, DO NOT remove the torsion bars! That is very unsafe. You will get a nice low stance by cranking them down, flipping the ball joints, and shorter bumstops. Removing the torsion bars is like removing the coil springs out of a s10. No one in their right mind would do that. So why remove yours and risk your life for another inch of drop. Its not worth it. Just my two cents.

i have to agree on this one, no torsion=very bad idea, horrible ride for one thing, the truck will bounce everywhere, and yes they still function even thought they are that low, basically they put torsion on the suspension to make you have controlled wheel travel when you hit a bump or any other thing in the road. like stated above they are like coil springs, they absorb the shock of a bump, without them then your frame and suspension parts are absorbing it.
