i have a sanden 708... those good for edc's? is it oil bathed? does it have built in check valve?

no there is no check valve and it is only good for air if it is oil bathed, it wil lsay r12 on the top or number plate if it is.

all the ones i used were for r134a make sure you run an oiler and a water trap like stated before no internal check valves

on my 708... i picked up a lubricator and air filter at work today... if i installed those two, would it work for edc?

Maybe.....the ones that have their own internal bath run longer....but if your lubricator supplies enough oil it should last for quite a while.

I was checkin them out on eBay, and most of them have the little bolt on top and say R-134a ??



Is that specidfic to the 5-- series or something??

Im just curious cuz now i want one, and im lookin into a 509, anyone think i should look at a different one?

Can any of them run up to 200 psi?

they can run up to 500 psi but its not healthy for them

Right, thinkin about it: I bet this was a dumb question cuz the comp. will just compress air untill you "turn it off" right?

So therefore i change my question to, what will at 200 psi without harming the compresser?
