With it set to 35º it doesn't backfire like it did at 50º ( I meant 50º before not 50%).
It was doing this (going to 0% when revved) initially but when it ran for a while it was doing the opposite (0% at idle, 35% when revved). I will check again tomorrow but I wasn't misreading it thats what it started doing both times (it was fully warmed up).
I don't think the pre-cat piping will be messed up since its 4 months old and my engine doesn't burn any oil and only leaks a drop or two a day (front main seal). The truck only has one cat (under cab) but thats probably a Canadian thing I guess (here only 96 and later vehicles have 2 cats).

I had a 83 and there was a adjustment screw but you had to drill out this silver Plug to get to it.. It was a Nikki carb.. Im not to sure on the Newer 1's I didint have that motor for 2 long before I did the 13B swap .. I have a few carbs here Ill Look for um if youed like...? (RX2000)
