Hey Man. I would agree with todd on the diapers man. My wife and I are doing this right now. We are having a second and we buy like a pack or two of diapers when the go on sale. Save your money also for a "Baby Fund". If her family or friends throw her a baby shower you will end up likely getting some good "Baby Tools". Not Everything but some cool things that will deff help out. Dont buy the expensive clothing if the baby grows like my first one did. Dont quit your job for the govt to fund your situation, Be a Man and A Good Daddy....Congrats Again and There is no right or wrong time to have kids man... Ohh be prepared to be looked at differently from your so-called friends. They will not understand. When they are in their 40's having kids and yours is grown and hangin out they will regret it. Thats Real Deal Holyfield right there. There is so many Good Replies. Combine them together and Roll wit the Flow.

i gotta give you props man. not for the tax thing but for not lashing back out at chris for saying what you were doing was bad. you re-stated your issue and provided examples of how you use it and how it makes sense. great job on keeping it possitive and not turning it into a bash session.

I agree that you should know what tax bracket you are in and make sure you get all the possible breaks on your taxes you can. FYI you still get tax credits even in you make better money. My issue with your statement was about quitting a job to get more breaks. My wife and I have worked our asses off to provide everything my kids need with out and help from anybody especially the government. When our kids were young my wife worked night to be home for the kids during the day and now that there older she works a normal day shift. The best possible option is for the mother to be home all the time if the father can support everybody on just his income but with the cost of raising kids today it

dude the best thing is invest in cosco card for diapers there the same price but you get more. get on wic and check with dshs for assistants even if you dont qualify just check dont lowere your income it will be harder i was where you were 5 years ago. i love my girl. and ask for help alot get some books on first time expecting parents i have some at home i will look at the titles tonight . and pm you there names. good books i also have an a to z all about the first 5 years what to excpect and what could happen. so nay questions let me know.
