its sad but true.. GWB has sigle handedly brought down the united states.... 8 years of war... was it nessasary? what has the USA gained from it besides debt...... canada operaters on a surplus.. we dont have debt.. bet you didnt know that....
as for the 700 million dollar buy out.. LOL.. it wont do anything.. with economies failing around the world.. people are investing therefor.. fixing the USA's stock exchange is like fixing a hole in a battle ship with bubble gum.... works great till you but the boat back in the water...
the US economy effects everyone.. " as much as some americans like ot think they are the center of the universe ( GWB, and all who suppost him).." the cnadian economy effect everyone just as the japanese economy effect all of us on this side of the pond....
up here in canada our economy is still obove water.. but barely.. if you want to know why the automitive industry sucks.. its becuase FORD GMC and DODGE have spent 13000 on stickers to go on mud flaps of there trucks... i know.. i make them.. and this order comes in every 6 weeks.. with little 600-1000 dollars coming in daily... ya dont see toyota spending money on mud flaps..
ontario, well thats a manufactuing province.. and with manufacturing going to other contries.. its screwed.... it has 0 natuaral resources... alberta has oil.. b.c has lumber.. and the praries have farming.. everything east of ontario is a drain on OUR economy.. taking money out.. and not putting money back in..
i dont know much abou tthe state of the STATES.. but.. i was watchin american news yesterday.. and i got to say.. it seem slike the owld is ending.. our news is so much more .. positive than yours, and even our news is bad mostly.... i wouldnt be surprised if you guys start to see alot of suicides and robberys becuase of financial issues...
anyhows guys... i wish everyone the best... apparantly this is suppost to be WORST thant in 1929.. ( the dirty thrirties)... just hang on tight..

Yeah,Ontario doesn't offer much. Manufacturing that is pretty much dead in the water, tourism which is too expensive for out of province/country tourists, agriculture,which is too expensive for the farmers to even operate,so you could basically clump agriculture and manufacturing together in the same lifeboat.
Out east,what do they have? ....fishing? Fog farms? Tourism is probably their biggest thing,but it's only seasonal. They took a big hit this year. There's so little work out there,it's not a wonder that it seems like 1 in 5 factory workers in Ontario is from out east.
I really hope with the upcoming elections,our leaders can do SOMETHING to soften this blow on the local and globel economy. As the rich get richer,the poor get poorer and it's everyone for themselves.
