but like mikey i like mostly the hard rock. seether, theory of a deadman. of course i only got 4 speakers in my truck. i'm not in to blastin a big system. too me that just adds weight and i dont like bein THAT MUCH of an annoyance. to many kids arond here have a $200 car with a $1500 system in it. i got burnt out on that crap before i even got into it.
I listen to some real heavy stuff, but I like all kinds of music.
Lamb of god, 5 finger death punch, thy will be done, otep, hatebreed, dropkickmurphys, killswitch engage, unearth.
hey you dont have to only listen to rap or hip hop and stuff to have a good sounding system. its all about the setup, tuning, and products used to get the sound suiting the genre. look at it as if a rock band had no bass player. it wouldnt be a complete band and/or sound anymore. just because you have subs doesnt mean you have to beat the doors down. it just includeds that instrument in to your setup. its just keeping it at a level that goes with everything else. i love systems just for the fact you can get all kinds of sounds and tones with modifications and stuff like that. i like some rock and stuff just not what i listen to everyday.

i like to jam some crazy metal beats where you can barely understand what there screaming
yes yes you do. i love metal, but cant stand when its just screaming. I can scream random shit at the top of my lungs to
Very true. The setup I had in my Cadillac was a all stock Bose speakers, but it had 8 speakers, and two 12" Kenwood subs in a ported box running on a 1500w amp and the components were run by a 400w 4 channel amp.
I hit 140.7db in an SPL contest, and my system could rock the deepest and hardest hip hop beats and then I could change my sound up and just blast some rock with some good kick behind it...sounding loud and crystal clear.
Driving is about the only time and place I get to enjoy music,so I like to have a good audio setup in my vehicle. Right now,my B4000 is killing me with a Sony deck and stock speakers. It sounds like crap and has no bass.
