I like aluminum.... and stainless is pretty sweet, especially when they are both polished up really nice

Seriously I do. Well my wife and i both do. We even had a pit at our wedding reception.
I would have to say the following are in constant rotation lately. Not all are hard metal but more punk.
DropKickMurphys, Deftones, Scars on Broadway, One Day As A Lion, SOAD, KORN, Ramstein, Chaqma, another foreign band that the guitar player from Chaqma now plays in, and deffinetly and always NIRVANA

Disturbed is a favourite of mine...the new album absolutely kicks ass.
Metallica,my long time favourite. Can't wait to buy the new album tomorrow. I love what I've heard so far! Actually,I'm listening to "My Apocolypse" as I write this,lol
Big fan of Godsmack too,hence the avatar.
Also love Drowning Pool,Killswitch Engage,Fear Factory,Institute,Soil,Rammstein,Deftonesand an assortment of 80s metal and such.
I'm more into hard rock than I am metal itself. I like all the usual stuff like Soundgarden,Nirvana,Stone Sour,Rev Theory,Theory of a Deadman,Three Days Grace,Pearl Jam,old Linkin Park (new stuff is crap),Alexisonfire,Stone Temple Pilots,Korn and all that kinda stuff.
I much prefer to blast some metal or hard rock while cruising instead of rap or hip hop.
If you've ever heard "I'm not Jesus" by Apocalyptica, you haven't heard that song til you heard it on the system in my Cadillac. Holy crap...that was one of the best sounding songs for my stereo.
