goin to play in the big sand box

i have been thinking about it for a long time and me and the wife have been doing some serious talking. and along with what all is going on at my day to day job, it is time for a change! so i am putting my paper work in for a job overseas in iraq for probably about 1-2 yrs. it is about 225k a year before taxes in iraq so i am going to get all my shit paid off and come back to a nice project! when i get back i will buy a little beater to drive around and go balls out on the 83, and i plan on buying the wife her dream car - a 1969 chevelle. it too will be bagged! but these are our plans, and hard at that! i hope you guys will support me in this cause it is hard as hell to leave my wife and kids for a long ass period like this. i did it once and swore i would never do it again but this time i will make a shit load of money and get my kids future set on the right track. if all goes well i hope to be leaving within the next month or 2.

and a buddy of mine sent me this today...

i will make 5100 in kuwait 6400 afghan and 7400 in iraq every 2 weeks take home.

i thought i wanted kuwait but i am hopeing for iraq now. haha. the more money i make that first year the sooner i can get back. i will be in houston tuesday to get my passport and not long there after i should be on my way to build sand castles.

thanks guys. and i will be doing the same thing i do now, only not as much. haha. i am an aviation sheetmetal fabricator/repairer. i also do composite repairs. i work with aluminum, stainless steel, and fiberglass, kevlar, and carbon fiber. it always seems like the more money you make, the less you actually have to do. haha.
