I'll see. It's too late for me to back out now. Now that you say that I might not learn much. My main interest is the job placement assistance after you graduate.

If you do a google search for "wyotech lawsuit" you'll find a bunch of info about the actual success of their graduates. There is also a rip off report wrote by a former student and only 3 of his friends actually got jobs in their area of study. Think it thru. You're already taking the right step in researching it first. I wish i would have

It depends what course you plan to take. I went to UTI myself because it Wyotech never got back to me. As far as the autobody field is concerned I would go to UTI. For automotive I dont know how they compare. I think UTI has more in the way of dealer programs, like I was offered to go to mercedes specialized training, but it was in Houston. It sucks right now trying to find a job doing body work, but all the employers I talked to were impressed at how much we had learned. I'm more qualified than almost anyone in the field as far as certification.
Now, not to hate on wyotech but a friend that I went to UTI with's cousin took the collision course at Wyotech and its more like hobby based body work than what you'd actually get a job doing. Just FYI.
Also, this is all based off the Sacramento campuses, not the schools in general.

i don't know rocket alpha, and i'm not denying anyones knowledge, but i can guarantee it didn't all come from wyotech.
its all in how you apply yourself. i went to the sacramento campus and took auto tech, chassis fab and street rod. i was there a year. there are plenty of dumbasses that are just there wasting their parents money. then there are the guys and girls that are actually interested that are older, going back to school on their own dime that give a damn. those are the guys that get the jobs and don't file lawsuits or whatever.
its true about whatever college you go to that not everyone gets a job. its up to each individual person not the college.
my opinion tho, i did get the job i have because of wyotech, but i feel that i could have spent 30,000 on some bitchin tools and a shit load of suspension books and a bunch of metal and practiced welding and been better off. hard to say tho.
its true. class sizes are way too big and a lot of dudes don't get the help they need. my outlook was 'i'm here for me and fuck you' so i'd be a dick and butt others out, and ask all the questions i had. gotta look out for number one ya know...
and about UTI... there was a UTI like ten miles from wyotech in sac. one of my chassis fab instructors either quit or got let go and went to UTI and one of my buddies graduated tech and is/was a teacher at UTI. I worked at a pizza place while going to wyotech and there was a UTI dude that always came in for lunch. he said they're more geared to dealership stuff. anything custom tho they don't do it.

It is all in how you apply yourself. You can go to Yale or wherever and slack off and accomplish nothing.
I'm still glad I'm going because it will get me out of this little shit town.
